Information Sharing and the MARAM Framework

From 27 September 2018, the Child Information Sharing Scheme and Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme will commence for:

  • all child protection practitioners
  • senior Housing Officers
  • a range of DHHS funded agencies.

The two information sharing schemes extend existing information sharing permissions for prescribed organisations and workforces and all prescribed agencies are required to make the appropriate changes in time to implement these reforms.

The same organisations and workforces will be prescribed under the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Management Framework (MARAM).

DHHS will start aligning relevant policies and procedures with the framework from this date and further information about the roll-out of MARAM will be provided later in 2018.

Registrations for face-to-face training are now available.
