Staff at Bendigo District Aboriginal Co-operative are seeking expressions of interest from community members about how to design and develop a localised approach to preventing family violence within the Aboriginal community.
The aim is to create a culturally safe and responsive approach to family violence prevention that is guided and informed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices.
The Family Violence Prevention Design Yarns are part of a BDAC project supported DHHS through by the Aboriginal Family Violence Primary Prevention Innovation Fund.
Sessions will be run by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander facilitators. Dinner/ Lunch will be provided to participants.
